The workshop is where I indulge my passion with mind, heart and hands to dress your feet.
The designer in me looks toward the future while my inner craftsman focuses on the savoir-faire of the past. Fantasy, creativity and a touch of humour belong to the former, whereas seriousness, precision and diligence inform the latter.

Either neo-classical or rather futuristic, all shoe models originate in my imagination. I then study the lines and proportions, design the model and carve the form upon which I build the prototype.

For the office- or the dance-floor, glamorous or casual, high-heeled or flat, with or without laces, a shoe must always respond to four essential criteria: highest quality materials, accurate finishing, aesthetic design and, last but not least, respect for the foot. My point is to seduce your feet with shoes in which they feel happy.

The collections

An Alain Jouenne shoe is assembled with the same care as a bespoke one. As soon as a prototype is ready, I translate it in several leather and colour variations, and different heel heights. Finally I supervise the manufacturing, carried out in the finest shoe-making tradition.

The uniques

Creating thematic shoes for stage and screen, company image, advertising or other, has always been a thrilling challenge for my imagination as well as my hands.

A unique creation may also result from an encounter with a private person, like these customised driving shoes matching the classic car of a collector; the Rolling Stones high-heeled mule with its tongue sticking out, which I created for a fan of the band, or the Rhinofleur peep-toe, for a wildlife enthusiast.
